He grew up listening to a lot of Ne-yo, Usher, Brian McKnight, Keith Whitley, George Strait etc. Although he sings country, he gets a lot of his inspiration from R&B artists. With Zach, you’ll hear all types of different types of country; soul, folk, modern, 90s, red dirt, western, you name it he will have a song to match! He began writing his own music at age 26 (“When God Made You” UNRELEASED) and by 27 learned the guitar and piano to help with his writing. Zach was awarded Rogersville’s Best of the Best musician award in 2024 with the drop of his first single “Tipsy on You”. He was also featured on Daytime Tricities to sing his new song “I Know A Man” live on tv.  This is only the beginning for Zach Elkins Music!

Above all Zach is a family man, his wife (of 7 years) and two daughters (ages 2 and less than 1) have so much inspiration on his music. To Zach, family always comes first. His career at BAE Systems 2nd, and music 3rd. Bu all those are canopied under God. Zach tries to squeeze in 1 maybe 2 shows a month and spends the rest of his time with his family.
